1- Night of the Living Dead
2- Dawn of the Dead
3- Day of the Dead
4- Land of the Dead

I put them in the order that they came out because there is no way to decide. It's like trying to choose my favorite Kubrick film. Its just not possible.

From a film history perspective, i would say that Night of the Living Dead is the standout. It up there with Psycho, Texas Chainsaw...

Dawn(the real one), Night, Land, Day

"The people who made [Firefly], and the people who saw the show, which is roughly the same number of people, fell in love with it, a little bit too much to let it go, too much to lay down arms when when the battle looked pretty much lost. In Hollywood, people like that are called unrealistic, quixotic, obsessive... In my world, they're called Browncoats."
-Joss Whedon, creator of Firefly/ Serenity

Dawn (Original)
Day (always felt pity for Bub)
Night (Savini's 90') (the only nonRomero's movie that preserves his specific atmosphere).
Night (Original)
Dawn (new) (running zombies suck)

Haven't seen LOTD yet.
