Well, I just got off of bloody-disgusting, and i found a review that stated that LOTD was just ok, he said it was good but not what he was expecting and that the movie was even annoying and boring at times! Thats horrible, he said he would reccomend it but that it still wasn't that good. Although I like Day of the Dead, it was not a very good movie, and here's to hoping that Romero has not created another Day of the Dead, but another Dawn. If any of you want to read the review just click here I don't really care what the review says, because ill go see it even if it does suck.

But the thing is, the review was by a fan, not a critic. And i do fin that whole shooting zombie-evolution thing absolutely ridiculous, i mean zombies are supposed to be brain dead!

I thought it rocked but I have to admit I did have my eyes squeezed shut quite a bit and I am extremely biased since my Uncle's in it. I think the person sitting to my left is now deaf from a couple of my loud screams during the premiere. All I can say about reviews is take them with a grain of salt and go see the film to decide for yourselves. I didn't think I'd like a zombie movie at all but really was entertained by Land of the Dead even with all the massive gore. We will soon be putting up an exclusive interview with Dennis Hopper that CountingDown's very own lead writer Susanne Robbins did in the Green Room at the Palms right before the premiere as well as her review of the film so keep your eyes out. Should be fun to read and just so you know Susanne is a huge horror buff and not a jaded "film critic"...

Stay scared!

I don't think Romero can make another Dawn, even if he wanted to. So even though I don't think it will be as good as Dawn, it's gonna be one of the best zombie films in years, better than the Dawn remake and fake ass zombie flicks like 28 days later etc...

I thought the movie was pretty good. It really shows how the people would adapt long-term to the zombie plague. It just felt really weird feeling sympathy for the main zombies.
