JoBlo has listed the Fountain as it's 4th best trailer for 2005:

# 4
THE FOUNTAIN
Just squeaking in as the second best teaser of the year is Darren Aronofsky's epic, THE FOUNTAIN. The look of this movie reminds me whole hog of a Kubrick film and it has me drooling. Kubrick left us no heir apparent, but Aronofksy has potential.

The costumes and photography look glorious, and the music sucked me right in. The simplicity of design hits me right in the gut, because I've always preferred minimalist marketing to over aggressive tactics. The edit is perfect and tight. The font supports the entire composition well, but appears slightly derivative of the FANTASTIC FOUR teaser. That's okay because I'm still far more stoked for THE FOUNTAIN than I ever was for FANTASTIC FOUR.

joblo. say that 5 times fast.

"The people who made [Firefly], and the people who saw the show, which is roughly the same number of people, fell in love with it, a little bit too much to let it go, too much to lay down arms when when the battle looked pretty much lost. In Hollywood, people like that are called unrealistic, quixotic, obsessive... In my world, they're called Browncoats."
-Joss Whedon, creator of Firefly/ Serenity

"The Fountain." Hugh Jackman plays a time traveler who struggles for 1,000 years as a Spanish conquistador, a scientist and an astronaut to save the woman he loves. Directed by Darren Aronofsky ("Requiem for a Dream"), it's a very promising, mind-bending story. Opening TBA.

Ive also been anticipating this movies release as well. Looks great and with Aronofsky behind the camera its going to be a truly amazing film. Requeim for a Dream was a masterpiece, and if his third major motion picture is as good as 'requiem' then yes he'd be making a great start in his film career with the same sort of eye as Kubrick.
Man, we need a release date for this soon!!!!
