after the alamo, 400 texans surrendered to Santa Annas army, they were all shot dead. had they joined the Alamo forces, maybe Santa Anna would have gotten a butt whooping there, cause they would have boosted the army from 200 to 600
Obviously, nobody here is from Texas. At the Battle of Coletto Creek (small creek outside of present day Victoria), 400 Texas troops were pinned down and were forced to unconditionally surrender. With the exception of a few who were able to escape, they were all executed. At the final battle an San Jacinto, the two battle cries being shouted by the Texans were Remember Goliad! and Remember the Alamo!
Wow!!! O.K. Did you know that David Crocket said that He wanted to charge the enimy and die than to sit in the alamo and die because he didn't like the stiff air inside. It's quit sad really.
