April 30, 2004 — According to a recent release from Marvel Studios, a filmic adaptation of their classic comic book 'Nick Fury: Agent of SHIELD' is currently slated for a 2006 release (those boys at Marvel like to think ahead)! Recent creative rehauls of the classic character in Marvel's 'Ultimate' line of comics have re-imagined the hero as a shockingly Samuel L. Jackson-esque individual, so it should come as no shock that early rumblings have Marvel in talks with (who else) Samuel L. Jackson for the part. Nothing's official yet, though, so keep it here for all the latest!
