February 16, 2005 — According to Production Weekly, Wolfgang Petersen ("The Perfect Storm", "Das Boot") is set to start filming the remake of "The Poseidon Adventure" in early May. The film is expected to shoot through September in Los Angeles for a May 5, 2006 release.
