Jack Nicholson has joined Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon, and Mark Wahlberg in director Martin Scorsese's The Departed at Warner Bros. Pictures. The crime thriller starts filming in April.

Variety and ComingSoon say Nicholson will play an Irish gang boss. A female co-star to play a cop psychiatrist has yet to be chosen.
