Beowulf “In the age of heroes ...” — matacron [More reviews by this user] Anticipation Level: How excited (or not) I am to see this movie... It's ironic when one of the oldest stories of the western world becomes perhaps the most original screenplay of the holiday season. Though Beowulf stays true to its roots, artistic liscence is taken in the form of its gorgeous CGI nature. At times, it's difficult to tell if the film is animated. But parents beware!
