The first stills from Brian De Palma's big-screen adaptation of James Ellroy's The Black Dahlia are now online. The blurry, almost colorized-looking pics can be seen here.
They were first revealed by producer Avi Lerner in a Canal Plus video segment from the Cannes film festival, where the film was scooped up by Universal for distribution.
The shots include our first look at Josh Hartnett, Aaron Eckhart and Scarlett Johansson in character for the Film Noir. The photos also reveal that Mia Kirshner has been cast in the film, apparently as the ill-fated title character Elizabeth Short. Joey Slotnick (Hollow Man) has also been cast.
