My Dodgeball story is sickeningly self-serving but I'll share it anyway. I was always the last to be picked and first to be put out. I was a 6th grade nerd and disdained by most girls. But just like in the movie, I found a way to overcome, and in one short year, my arm had developed in a red-rubber firing canon. I became merciless, pummeling guys and gals (those same gals that wouldnt even look my way) indiscriminately. Sure it was wrong aiming high and watching my desperate victims collapse in a headshot heap, but like Agent Smith said, it was MY WORLD! The geek had become the greatest!

So naturally I was thrilled after watching Dodgeball. I have been both the Average Joes and the Purple Dragons. The nerd and the nemesis. And thats why I loved this film.

For a serious review of this great movie, see my site: Ecritiques.com . What are your Dodgeball stories?
