With Hollywood's penchant for making sequels to successful films, I am happy to see an original spoof comedy. Hopefully this will inspire more. Did anyone else roll at the Pulp Fiction gags?

You are right on with those Pulp Fiction spoofs. Also, comedies like My Big Fat Independent Movie, Scary Movie, and Not another Teen Movie are different in their own ways and I enjoy them very much. I have to say that My Big Fat Independent Movie had some other great spoofs such as targeting My Big Fat Greek Wedding and Run Lola Run.

I checked out the trailer online and have to admit that part of what attracts me to MBFIM is the simple fact that it seems to find a joke in EVERY movie it has a chance to poke fun at in the course of making a movie that might even have a plot that makes some sense.

In surfing the web I've run across posters for it that spoofed the posters of at least 4 other movies, and somehow I suspect that's just the tip of the iceberg.

This might very well have been one of the funniest movies I've seen in years. To me it was just non stop scene after scene laughter. If anyone were to ask me today to name them a movie they probably haden't heard of, but wished they did, it would be this one.

well see im not a huge fan of comedies, i mean some of them just seem so dumb & well this one is just so cheesy to me that is funny.. i found myself laughing at just about every bit of the film & i dont find myself doing that very often with a movie

i loved the pulp fiction bit & then seeing clint howard pop up on the screen was awesomely funny (i swear that guy has at least a small bit in every movie).. i think it was just cool to have already seen all of these movies in their original format & then to see these bits & scenes of them being spoofed was hilarious

i heard the dvd was just released like 2 weeks ago, has anyone gotten to pick up a copy yet ?

I have it, or well my dad does, and its VERY funny, I especially liked the character Sam. and you shouldnt listen to the critics, because this is sort of like FireFly, the fans loved it but the critics hated it.

I never expected to see a spoof film on indie movies, but I am glad there was. This movie pokes so much fun on some of my favorite movies and I don't think I ever stopped laughing. This was a great movie and it out done itself. I thought the Pulp Fiction gags were pretty funny too, they were the best scenes!!
