Not that I have a problem at all with jumping to Metal Gear Solid, but why don't they just start from the very beginning where Snake was assigned to rescue Gray Fox in South Africa like the original Nintendo game started it? That way you can throw in a couple sequels comfortably. I mentioned this before but I forgot where I posted.

I don't know why they decided to start there. Maybe they'll do some prequals later.

I don't think there should be a prequel. Just start from the top. It's not like it would be disappointing you know? Whatever though. I know this'll be a great film either way.
