Hugh Jackman wouldn't be a really good Solid Snake, there are better. He just seems wrong for the role. Rose McGowan I can see. Jon Heder as Otacon is ridiculous. And Donald Sutherland doesn't have the style, Sam Elliot would be good for Revolver. Stone Cold as Vulcan Raven is just as dumb if not dumber that Jon Heder as Otacon... Olga Kurylenko would be a good Sniper Wolf.
this part i must give you props, Kurt Russel as Big Boss, now that's genius and I was thinking something along those lines. But well done my good sir!
ok moving on.
And not Jeremy Sumpter for Raiden, for the movie at least make him a man unlike the game for god's sake!!
mila i can approve, shannon elizabeth is all wrong. And Rodrigo Santoro, that's actually an interesting choice. I think that's some clever casting. Philip Seymour Hoffman as Fatman, sure why not=P oh and Hugh Jackman couldn't be Solidous, Solidus looks more like Big Boss that Solid and Liquid, maybe some make-up or something. moving to MGS3, Devon Aoki wouldn't fit the part as Eva, Aoki is more action oriented and I think this has too little action for her, well it's different that what she usually does, and visually idont think so. Kiefer Sutherland...NO!! that ain't happenin, he's too old someone more annoying and more some green that's got skills. Sadler isn't scary or intimidating enough for Volgin, but it is some interesting casting though.
Kathleen Turner as the boss....
F$$$ no...Kathleen Turner looks like a grandma.
Timothy Olyphant could be the FURY, well maybe if he's blown up right away ( didn't like what he did for Hitman) Robert Knepper as The Fear is some Spot-On casting! John Terry isn't lanky or creeper enough for The Sorrow, John Terry is too big. And I can really see Michael Gambon as The End.

Not Bad Casting choices some are ok
few were horrible
and a few were very well chosen, actually that was one of the most surprising..
And I'm Die-Hard Mgs fan right here!

I think Rachel Nichols would be good for Meryl.

And though i love Stone Cold, i think the Rock would fit as Vulcan better simply because. I don't think Austin can pass as an Inuit.

I was only so so serious for the casting of Metal Gear Solid 3. because im a DIE HARD Fan and as you can see apart from alan rickman you have three of the four villians there, But...

I got stuck on certain characters like Fortune where you would want someone sexy, slightly foreign and a bit of miltary behind her but there isnt many that fits the role.

Otacon is one i found difficult to cast, I personnelly dont think there is an ideal cast for him... Even some that have come close ive not been incrediblelly happy.

Having Kurt Russell in the movie would be great, having a BIg Boss cameo But having him as the main villian well Solidus being played by Kurt Russell would loose the edge against the 3rd movie

I was looking for a good Ocelot and to me Ocelot is a character you would need that back stabbing nature. Donald sutherland came to mind because he would have that nature. But i wasnt entirely shore by his casting, also what i though would be interesting would be to have Keith Sutherland playing the younger ocelot just due to the family relation would of been great for a deager on Ocelots character without casint a look alike.

However i do have an alternative.

Older Ocelot - William Hurt
Younger Ocelot - Neil Patrick Harris

Finding a female Boss was difficult too because the actress i chose although to old for the role go back a couple of years she would of been perfect. But shes one of those characters that might be way too difficult to cast.
