Moviehole recently sat down with DreamWorks grand poobah Jeffrey Katzenberg and he talked a little bit about a BEE MOVIE sequel seeing as how the flick's making some pretty decent bank at the box office. Here's a little taste of the exchange:
And talking of franchises is Jerry eyeing a Bee Movie franchise?
I dont know I dont have the courage to ask him right now [Laughs].
So, in other words, you guys are but you dont know about Jerry?
Have you ever run a marathon? Its 26.2 miles. So to ask Jerry Seinfeld today whether hes interested in doing a sequel is like asking someone who has just crossed the finished line in a marathon whether they wanted to run again. If they had the energy theyd club you to death.
Youd like to see [a sequel] though?
Anything hed like to do working with him has been one of the most rewarding experiences in my professional career. If he wants to play again, I certainly would.
