I keep seeing advertising for this film. The characters have appeared on tv shows, on billboards up and down I-95, even on the front page of this web site for the last few weeks.

But has this over-the-top promoting generated any actual interest in this film?

I pray my kids don't want to see this movie. It looks like complete garbage.

First, the film is about a creature that most humans see as a pest, breaking away from his own colony and living with a human who understands his uniqueness. Didn't we just see this film a few months ago with Pixar's Rattatouilli?

Then there is the voice "tallent". Jerry Seinfeld's voice is like a whiney 6 year old's. His voice makes my ears bleed worse that listening to Woody Allen's (who also starred in a Dreamworks animated film about bugs).

I don't know. This holiday season the kids have Fred Clause, Enchanted and Nightmare Before Christmas 3-D, so it's not the parents are without choices this season.

Not much interest, but I'd still give it a shot because it was written by Seinfeld (which would bring the comedy) and starring Seinfeld (who has like no movies what-so-ever)

So, I'm basically just trying it out.

Movie concept never really clicked with me, but it had a George Michael song in its preview and that was pretty cool. Of course, I could always just turn on my CD player if I wanted to listen to George Michael.

It's certainly got a lot of hype behind it, and it looks like a quality animated film, but who knows if the story or characters are going to be compelling enough.

I don't mind Seinfeld, he usually throws a lot of work into his projects, and from the hype, this seems to be true about doing this film.

Probably see it...

Its just another computer animated movie thrown out because its seen to be the "in thing" to do.

My interest in this would be on the same level as movies like Hoodwinked and Open Season, minimal. Out of Pixar and Shrek's caliber.

My top movies of 2009

1. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
2. Star Trek
3. District 9
4. Curious Case of Benjamin Button
5. Transformers 2
6. Terminator Salvation
7. Watchmen
8. This Is It
9. Inglorious Basterds
10. Bruno
11. Wolverine
12. Friday 13th
13. Monsters Vs Aliens
14. Angels and Demon's
15. Hannah Montana

Mixed feelings cause it looks semi good yet i never liked Seinfeild.

I might end up renting it during one of my long exiles in Bryson City at my grandmas where theres nothing to do but play videogames, watch TV/movies and read. My sis is the manager of the video store down there so i wont have to pay for it.
