May 13, 2004 — Juan Jose Campanella will supervise a rewrite of the Adam Sandler comedy "Click" and may direct the film. Campanella will work with the film's original screenwriters, Steve Koren and Mark O'Keefe ("Bruce Almighty").

The film will concern a workaholic architect who finds a universal remote that allows him to fast-forward and rewind to different parts of his life. Complications arise when the remote starts to overrule his choices.
