If only the people behind the movie could finish reading both wolverine origins and the end ( sequel to origins ) they will find out that the character of Dog and sabretooth were two different characters and that john howlett is the true brother of wolverine. What sucks about the film industry is that when they screw up the origins of the film, they confuse the hell out of people. Heck there are still people out there who think that chris nolan got it wrong and that the joker was responsible for the death of bruce waynes parents thanks to tim burton. Now Here comes the well sabretooth is his real brother bull...

True, but you should consider two things...
1. As a prequel, it gave them the opportunity to fix certain issues.
2. Making Sabertooth his brother created a new coninuity problem with the film it was a prequel of. While Wolverine would not remember, Sabertooth would have.

yeah well this is how the prequel effected the movie. We all know they screwed up the actual origins but in the x2 dream sequence in the flash back scene it states " No memory, he will have no memory". They got it right because its his healing factor that causes his memory loss whenever he is subjected to traumatic experiences. Then in the prequel its all of a sudden an adamantium bullet that does it. Thats a huge SCREW UP because if they continue with the japan storyline they cant do it with lady death strike who plays a major role in wolverines past. If they kept it the way bryan singer had it, then it can explain as to why wolverine couldnt remember death strike. we all know that she couldnt recognize wolverine because she was a zombie under control of stryker with that liquid crap they put in the back of the neck. If you pay attention to the scene where wolverine stabs her with the adamantium liquid tube thier facial expressions has a " do we know each other look to it ". It looked like she was about to say something as well while her eyes were changing. Also the fact that sabretooth and wolverines past history was strong ( such as sabretooths anger towards stryker and silver fox betraying wolverine towards the end of the movie ) and yet in the first film you kinda get a sense that sabretooth knows who he is but, its on a whole different level. So technically its seriously screwed up within the films storylines linked with the sequels.
yeah i was about to point out the total lack of chemistry in the first X-Men movie..... Sabertooth and Wolverine barely acknowledged each other other than the fights they had, there was ZERO relation between the two, sure Logan lost memories but you would think Sabertooth would remember
