Is anyone here pissed that Wolverine was not the weapon he was meant to become!

Weapon X comics, the ****ing best in my mind

but Wolverine was not turnned into the weapon, or stripped of his humanity, struggling to get it back.

It was a ****ing love-revenge story and he gets tricked into becoming the tenth test in the making of what became Deadpool!

I don't care really about anything else if they kept that in there. Besides, it still left you saying that it did not tie in well to the first 2 x-men movies.

If he was going to volunteer, then atleast say he was working well with stryker, maybe be his best man, and he becomes the weapon, Weapon X, and winds up fogetting after its done, and Styker would send Team X after him. Now that would have been better. Infact, thats the story I thought was gonna happen. He forgets right after the metal is placed in him, like X2 hinted at. Deadpool and Sabertooth could have been the 2 characters sent to get him.

The 2 peaple I want to hear from is Xenos and Wolvie

I just want to know what you think about taking out his point of being Weapon X. I find your one of the few who really knows what there talking about when it comes to Wolverine.

That's cool of you to say, but I'm no expert...I just love the little Canucklehead.

Well....it's not the movie I'd envisioned in my head when first hearing it was being planned, but decided to look at it as a variant run/novel. There's a few nods to the old stories and the Weapon X novel but this movie was written for broad audience.

im quite upset that people would question other peoples interest in characters, Wolverine is tied for #1 for my fav characters, the other being Spidey, i may not have a subscription to his books but do try and research him as well as i got most (i dont know if its all) of the novels that star Wolverine that came out within the last bit

It didn't really bother me. I have read about 20 different versions of Wolverine's origin, depending on which memories are being heralded as true or fake. Depending on the day of the week.
But X-2, while great, sort of backed the makers of this movie into a corner when they had Stryker tell Logan he asked for the proceedure. So that altered things right there. Then it's simply a matter of which alteration you prefer. What you suggest is still an alteration. So I don't see the big deal. It was 2 hours of Wolverine kicking ass, especially Sabertooth's. Worked for me.
