Does the film stay true to the comics as to appease the critical eyes of the die-hard fanboys? Not really, but as far as keeping true to the slightly modified storyline of the X-Films goes, Wolverine slashes back onto screens true to form. The story is well paced, the villain is hateable, and the choreography combined with spectacular special effects makes "Origins" a decent opener to what promises to be a blockbuster Summer.

the only films i can see beating this movie at the box office are: TF2, Star Trek and Angels and Demons, Terminator Salvation might edge it out but it might not

The "LEGAL" version and the "UNFINISHED" version contain the same amount of damnable footage.

I never once judged my opinion on unfinished FX.

I made my judgment on storyline, character assasination, plot holes, disregard for proper storytelling, horrible dialogue, and mediocre action.

Again, don't be dumb.

And give me SOME credit.

This movie was terrible and you are in the minority of people who actually liked it.

how much better this movie would have been if it follow the comic? If is rate R? if at least is 2 hours when the plop get better?

I dont hate the movie, is average entertaining; but from this year i do hate Fox and his poor management on making movies,always aiming for average/aiming to spend the least posible/ make short movies to get more showings, and try to get the most money they can on the first weeks, wihthout caring about the movie they made on quality.

Marvel did show a path with Iroman and Hulk, WB did a great job with Batman beggins and the Dark knight, this movie is small compare to those.

I agree with this review. It's a solid addition to the X-Men franchise, and sets up future X prequels nicely.

They call 'em fingers, but I've never seen 'em fing.....................

First, it's really rude how you respond to ANYONE in here who doesn't agree with what you have to say.

There is no such thing as an "ignorant question." He who asks a question is a fool for five minutes. He who does not is a fool forever.

You ask me to give you credit, but it's difficult to give someone credit who is accusing you of being dumb, particularly when you are asking a rational question.

How in the world would I know how YOU judge a movie? I don't live inside your head.

Since you didn't actually ANSWER my question, I'm going to use the response that you DID give to come to the conclusion that you did NOT see the finished version, which is REALLY all I wanted to know.

Also, I'm not going around countingdown taking a SURVEY, but it would APPEAR as though you're WRONG about me being in the minority in liking this movie. Most of the people around here are saying that they enjoyed it.

Your opinion is not fact simply because you say so or call someone an idiot, a moron, or an apologist.

Two different people can make COMPLETELY rational arguments and come to DIFFERENT conclusions.

You and I have AGREED on certain points. You and I have DISAGREED on certain points. That does not make either of us stupid. We both simply have our own way of thinking.

Before I turn this post into a novel, I will state THIS opinion:

Because you have not seen the FINISHED version of the film, and I have not seen the ILLEGAL version of the film, I can only conclude that we are not going to be able to compare notes.

That being said, both of us are only qualified to review the version that we have SEEN, therefore, NEITHER of us can logically disagree with the other's review.

But i and i'm sure most people don't care for his narrowminded, negative, overly critical veiw on things not just movies.

He hated the film fine and he does have a right to state that and why but he does not need to nag about it. And anyone who disaggres with him he calls a moron or some other name. Wish he'd just shut up about it already. But we know thats not gonna happen.

It might when he sobers up.

I've been avoiding sparring with the dude because I realized that he's drunk most of the time. That's really no excuse though. I find that when you're drunk, you reveal who you really are.

I asked the guy a simple question because I ACTUALLY thought I would try to engage him in rational conversation.

He then proceeds to bite my head off.

It used to be that I didn't want him kicked out of here because he was always so much fun to frustrate when he started acting like he does. Now he's just making a habit of being sanctimonious.

"You don't agree with ME?!!! You MUST be a moron/idiot/apologist/gui
lty of not reading what I wrote/etc."

I often wonder if it's lonely up on that high horse of his.
