Brokeback Mountain “Enigma” — clay4444 [More reviews by this user] Anticipation Level: How excited (or not) I am to see this movie... This film is hard to explain but my initial reaction was that it is too slow. However, in retrospect the entire theme is about restraint and that is what this movie is...restrained. It's touching, sad, and a stunning commentary on the human condition. The cinamatography, soundtrack, and supporting performances are great. But I was most impressed with Heath Ledgers turn as Ennis. Growing up in eastern Oregon I knew at least a dozen men just like him. This actor did his homework! I would definately recommend this film. Movie Review: N/A My thoughts on this movie...
