Brokeback Mountain “True love is the message” — vksahg [More reviews by this user] Anticipation Level: How excited (or not) I am to see this movie... I4ve been looking forward to this film since reading about the filmfestival. I now have read the shortstory (in Swedish), and I did4nt like the way it was written; harsh and raw and I hate unhappy endings. But the story is brilliant and the ending gets it to another dimension, though absolutely heartbreaking. The story gets under your skin and gnaws it4s way to your hart, you can feel these simple mens confusion about their strong feelings and how to cope (will read it in English too). I expect the sex will be toned down in the film (being American..) but I think the actors Heath and Jake are very brave to do this lovestory. Having seen the trailer with these gorgeous actors in the magnificent Wyoming settings I expect a fantastic but heartbreaking film!
