| How excited (or not) I am to see this movie... |

| I want to jump up and down with happiness that there is FINALLY a gay themed movie with big time leading men in it.. but I cannot! I am almost angry at what seems to be the story line of men going back and forth.. not being able to make up their minds about their sexuality! First they are together, then they get married and have children, then they yearn for each other again! I'm all for gay romance but do NOT agree with getting married, ruining the women involved's lives and those children! YES It's JUST A MOVIE.. but what example does it set?? Heterosexuals are never going to give homosexuals equal treatment if society doesn't STOP with the stereo types and infidelities! (not just this but most movies) Why couldn't they have fallen in love and NOT hurt those women and NOT had children?? I'm just saddened by the entire premise.. and will most likely be disappointed after seeing this movie. Too bad because Ang Lee is usually brilliant and the actors and actresses are spectacular at their craft... P.S. just so there is no mistake, I am a gay man and have been from birth. I never gave any woman false hope, nor have I been with one. I know what I am and who I truly am. God Bless and thanks for reading my review! |
