Brokeback Mountain “Wow” — broadwayjoe [More reviews by this user] Anticipation Level: How excited (or not) I am to see this movie... Wow , first let me say I'm not gay and am wasn't particularly comfortable with the thought of a movie with gay cowboys. However, this truely was one of the best movies I've ever saw, it not only broke down many stereotypes but, also helped me to see people of different sexual orientations as just what they are PEOPLE , if you strip away all the extra B.S. about this movie, it boils down to a tragic love story, people not being able to live as themselves due to fears of social sanctions (violence).
