For those who were profoundly affected by the film and are looking to make a change in their lives, there is a new website launched specifically to address what comes after Brokeback Mountain.

Sites that discuss the film itself like this one are wonderful. For those of us who got pounded by the emotions of lost opportunities, enigmatic significant others, or simply aren't happy with what the film showed them in our own lives, BetterMost is a place to start making changes for the better.

As Annie Proulx said herself: "It is my feeling that a story is not finished until it is read, and that the reader finishes it through his or her life experience, prejudices, world view and thoughts."
