I have read the posts up to the beginning of Feb. and I can't believe that all of you people are so critical of what Carrington said! For one you want to talk about tolerance and what's right ,but a bigger bunch of hipocrites I have never seen. You, like most bleeding heart liberals, are only tolerant of other liberal views, but are very quick to condemn those that do not hold your views. I personally do agree with what Carrington says and a couple of the other posts, but I am a married woman with children and I am proud tosay I am a Christian and I do read the bible, so you saying that he must be gay, or hiding something is so ridiculous!! He is probably a christian and he does agree with what this country ( that you so dearly love to flaunt your gay rights and freedoms in) was founded upon. Which like it or not was GOD the christian god. To say he is intolerant because he disslikes a movie about gays and infidelity is just crazy! You in this country are very much entitled to your opinions and views, as is Carrington and those that agree with him. So get over it!! and also for the person that said don't worry not many people who are conservatives will be around much longer, well just let me tell you that If we Christians , and there are many young Christians have any say about it than you will be shown how wrong you are!! It does say in the bible that homosexuality is wrong I defy you to show me where it says otherwise. This site says refrain from rudeness, but you people are nothing but insulting and rude!! You are entitled to your own opinion but in my view the so called christians that go to church on a sunday preaching & praying to God then immediately go & murder a person because of his sexuailty or Stone a woman because she is with child out of wed lock ( sometimes through no fault of her own)and believe me I have seen it all 1st hand make me sick to the stomach with the sheer hypocrosy of it all. God said he loved ALL people who he made in his own light. Havent heard about this Carrington character before; strange discussion going on here. As i am an christian too, employee in the church of Sweden, and married since 27 years and with 3 sons, there is one thing with christian fundamentalists that puzzles me. Christian means you beleive in Jesus christ and his words. Jesus never said any thing about homosexuals, and furthermore; what do we know what he thougt in that matter and what his own sexual preferences were (if any)? The old testament is more of a story of the jewish life and history which cristianity evolved from. Why dont follow Jesus own words instead? Love and forgiveness is central, and not condemming others. Only the lord will decide who is a sinner when we face him, no man should throw the first stone. Being true to your hart and take care of the people you love, weather you love someone of the opposite sex or the same, is what people should do, and respect other peoples choises. Last year I read about an report on values around the world; american values had more in common with muslims and africans than with european values. Interesting thougt that seems to be sadly accurate in the matter of fundamentalist christians.
