| Well, I agree with you, sorta. But, to include The Stand as a bad adaption? That's my favorite adaptation. Secret Window wasn't all that bad, either. Although, after The Sixth Sense, I'm sorta getting tired of all these movies having suprise ending. If you want to talk about bad King adaptions, include Thinner, The Langoliers, &, that stupid Shining made for TV movie. The more I look at Dreamcatcher, the more I hate that movie, as well. I mean a British Mr. Grey? That was to the point of being laughable. In fact, unless it's directed by Frank Darabont, or, it's made for TV, you can almost guarentee a bad King adaption. I heard that after Riding the Bullet comes out, Garris is gonna adapt Desperation. Which, sounds awesome, until you hear it's a made for TV movie. Violence will have to be toned down considerably for that. |
