Ok, for anyone hear that knows of the Resident Evil franchise, the first was a prequel to the games, the second was a mix of two or three of them, and the third was post game world, i've heard that the Silent Hill franchise will take the same route. This movie was kinda like a prequel, and in the second movie, (If there is one) the father in reality gets a letter from Rose in Silent Hill, and he decides to go after her, and so on. Now, im no SH expert, or anything close to one, but apparently that's what happened in one of the SH games? A guy gets a letter from his dead (trapped) wife, and he goes after her.

Tell me if this makes sense...

Well Actaully that romer can't come true, Because the Movie was based off the first game, wich would eternally make it a remake of the game. RE1 had no such addaptaional qualities. But what could come true is that a third/or/second could be a sequal to the games.

prequel to the games??? dude the movie was a like a remake of the first silent hill. i think the next movie should have a different story. like how the games all have different characters and stories.

At the end of this one, they obviously set up for the sequel. Sean Bean is probably going to become the man searching for his dead wife in the second one.
Also, because they didn't kill Pyramid Head and he appears in the game, I'm almost positive that they'll be making another. The fans loved this one!

It isn't healthy.

Plus i don't know squat about Silent Hill, cept it's scary and the movie was great. I just hope that's enough for a sequel, that's all.

well with how the first one ended they could easily use chris to go back to silent hill and somewhat follow the first one but if they cant get a lot of the original people to sign back on for a second (assuming they do) then they could easily do what Silent Hill is known for and thats make a completely different story with new characters
