I think the movie could've had the potential but it just didn't. Well, I saw the movie tonight with big hopes like everyone else did in the theater. I am a true gamer to all of the silent hill games but this movie just didn't sparkle me with the horror that the games offered. WHAT WAS AWESOME...was the soundtrack music from the 1st silent hill game, cybil bennett and the fog. What bothered me was that they could have done better by showing more from the 1st game. I was disppointed in seing some of the midwhich children and the pyramid head shown only once in the movie then later just storyline, alessa, rose, silent hill happenings, but no horror effect that silent hill 1 game offered. Anyways, I give the movie a grade of B+ for having the games soundtrack and the place shown exactly like in the game, oh the fog was the big role in the movie as well and the sirens too. WHere in the hell was the big wasp boss, the catepillar worm. The church people acted like in the movie the crucible, "kill the witch, burn the witch"

I think the movie was pretty scary- or at least it had me jumping. I played silent 1, silent hill 3, but not much of the second game. It was very true to the game, i thought, but any game to movie adaptation cant have EVERY boss in it. I see your RE icon- and i absolutely LOVE those movies and EVERY ONE of those games, but the movies didn't even have a quarter of the monsters from the games, itd just be too much, in my opinion of course. I think the movie was great, and surprisingly i think i might have enjoyed it better than the last Resident evil movie... I guess its all a matter of opinion... oh and btw, can't wait for RE:Extinction!

95% of the movies music was Silent Hill 3. Some of it might have "also" been in Silent Hill 1, and knowing that Disapointed me.

And a part that made me laugh was when Sharon and Rose were driving to silent hill, they played the same music as when Heather/Sharon and the detective were driveing to Silent Hill in SIlent Hill 3.
