I have to say I'm a huge fan of the original movie and I'm very pleased to see the original crew working on Return To Sleepaway Camp. But the thing is that the original was so campy (bad pun, hahaha) all while trying to be serious... but that's what I love about the 80's slasher movies and especially Sleepaway Camp. The mullets, the shorts, the tank-tops... everything was right. The one liners where hilarious... the death scenes gory and gruesome. That beeing said, I am having some doubts about how Return To Sleepaway Camp will turn out. I guess only time will tell.
Yeah, I have a few doubts. I really hope Robert Hiltzik brings back all of his filming techniqes to this sequel. I know that this is a direct sequel to Sleepaway Camp 1, Mr. Hiltzik has said that th 2nd an 3rd movie arnt officialy in the Sleepaway Camp time line. Im glad because they went in the wrong direction with the Angela Character. I have seen some clips and photos of the upcoming "Return" and it does look impressive, alot like the first.
