This movie sucked...it was entertaining but it wasn't as good or as intriguing as the original.
It starts with surfers trespassing on some guy's beach front property thus showing they're the bad gang of vampires.
Then we meet some ex-surfer pro (played by the guy who played Stifler's brother in American Pie: Band Camp) and his sister who move to this town after their parents die. Of course they come in contact with the gang of vampires, the sister starts to turn and the brother goes to Edgar Frog for help.
There is no big surprise as to the "Head" vampire like in the first and the theme "Cry Little Sister" gets played for only 2 minutes during a sex scene and then it's never heard again. The gore was cool though.
Overall it was a let down...but what do you expect from a "direct to DVD release"?
Agreed. I watched it online at Joox.net and I too was pretty much disappointed. It wasn't exactly a bad movie but it wasn't anything worth watching again either. And Corey Feldman CANNOT freaking act worth a crap! For some reason I remember him being a better actor than that.
