Blade Director Approached to Take Helm?

January 5, 2005 — MoviesOnline reports that Freddy vs. Jason director Ronny Yu will not be returning for the sequel because of other obligations. Who is New Line apparently looking at now? Stephen Norrington, the director of Blade. Apparently, the script was finished last week, and filming is expected to begin on June 16th in Vancouver.
