ya know?? Actually i have thought the very same thing many times. Freddy and jason is kind of a silly match up. Freddy is like a force of nature or something. jason could never possibly destroy Krueger. Krueger would be better matched against Pinhead or something. Someone more like himself.

Jason Vorhees and Micheal Myers, now that's a pair that could really square off and throw down. They are both unstoppable super zombies. Both super strong, both back fromt he dead several times over. They are batter suited to combat each other.

michael myers does have a weakness when laurie strode dies(a.k.a. kamie lee curtis than he dies. But if u watch more than 2 they bring him back some how even tho jamies not in the movies so yea??? but he does have a weakness

YES! Now that would be a battle!! Finally Krueger would have someone his OWN size to pick on. Oh sure he'd do fine initially. But can you just imagone the kind of horrible things a Cenobite dreams of?? Freddy tries to flex by jumping into Pinhead's mind, and then damn well wishes he hadn't! lol

I heard a rumor (and I'm sure that's all it was) a year or two ago about another ending that they had considered for Freddy vs. Jason:

After the scene had faded to black, Freddy and Jason suddenly have hard spotlights cast onto them from an unseen source. Both of them are shackled and chained to black metal slabs. They're not facing each other. They are angled so they can still see each other, but still facing in the same general direction.

After they both look around and it's obvious to the audience that they're both wondering what the hell is going on (no pun intended), Pinhead walks slowly out of the darkness holding the puzzle box.

After looking intently in silence at both of them (giving the audience time to cheer and go nuts at his arrival), he says, "Gentlemen, what seems to be the problem?"

The movie then cuts to the credits.

Who here thinks that this would have been a MUCH better ending than the one they came up with? I know *I* do.

Yeah they brought Michael back after 2, that has NOTHING to do with Laurie Strode, her in it or not, Michael can still be in it. And, uh... She uh... died in H8 and uh... Michael was still in it. *rolls eyes*

As cool as that ending does sound actually, I am still glad they ended it the way they did. Having them both appear alive still, with no clear winner which I liked.

Guys! Please you're getting ahead of yourself and bringing up ideas which are laughable and totally crap.

PINHEAD?!? No he doens't go with these guys at all.

It means more than a match up of the 3 just being due to ability or origin, they are the 3 KINGS of slasher movies and I think you'll find they do suit each other quite well in terms of v.s. films.

That ending involving Pinhead isn't so secretive, I've heard it many a time and I really despise it. It's silly and makes no sense. If anything, FvJ wasn't fantastic, but done just well enough to get it by as plausible by my standards. Cept for Ken Kerzinger, that torpedo shaped soppy freak isn't Jason.

As for just Michael and Jason squaring off, how plain would that be? It could be so much more, why deny it full potential.

Furthermore, I'm a huge Freddy fan and I can honestly say he cannot easily kill Jason and Michael, he probably could but it would take time and strategy! And those two would find it hard to get to Freddy for starters, but in the real world he'd have to be as crafty as ever not to get severly wrecked!

As for Michael Myers having a weakness. I can honestly say there are no weaknesses which I see as obvious.

"Michael can't die" - well you see, he is pure evil but his body is just a shell. You can shoot him, stab him, electrocute him, anything! - he won't die. Michael's evil side (which lurks inside us all) has completely taken him over and destoryed all things human. The only thing which remains is his body - which is human.

Technically he can never die, even if you destory his body the evil can live and move on. But in general, decapitate him or blow him to smitherines then no more Michael!

That is his weakness!

Jason is almost the same. He IS human though. As in parts 2-4 he was a humn killer with freakish strength (for a freakish guy, to be fair) and in parts 6-8 he was a zombie (thus explaining increased strength and him being harder to keep down!) but he is still human - he would bend over backward at his mum's command.

Basically, you take off his head, blow him up, and yeah, he is gone for good. That is also his weakness, his body's limitations. His second weakness is his overwhelming love for his mother.

But yeah, he has been killed before in zombie mode without a drastic explosion (died in parts 6 & 7).

So Michael is definitely more of a force to be reckoned with. I mean sure Jason is big and aggressive, but he's still human, and has more limitations than Michael. So it's not as one sided as you think, and the winner can't be determined over who is the "sneakier" among them.

There is a decent fight there.

But to be honest, Freddy can add to this and make it more interesting. The mix is far too good to pass so easily!

Not only that, it's a fact these 3 have had influence on each other more than any other icon and have the best history. It just makes sense!

PS -- As you probably have guessed by now, I don't consider any single Jason movie after Friday the 13th part 8 to be serious at all. JGTH and Jason-X are disgraces to the genre nevermind the Voorhees legacy!

Michael vs. Jason would probably put me to sleep. Neither of them speak, so it would be up to the characters around which the plot would evolve.

They'd have to think of a brilliant way to get the two of them together, because at least Freddy could speak, think, and plot for himself.

Jason and Michael are both just directionless slashers (with the MINOR exception that Michael can drive a car).

See, here's the thing about whether or not Michael and Jason can die or have weaknesses.

I see Jason having more weaknesses than Michael. Michael doesn't even really have a weakness. Sure, if you say if Michael gets blown up or head chopped off he'd be dead for good. Well, they blew Jason up into billions of pieces and still lived. BUT look at the explanation we got... A little demon was inside the body who can jump around body to body and if jumped into a blood relative, Jason is back.

SEE HOW STUPID THAT IS! THAT is why being blown up and chopped off head should be ignored as a question because the explanation is going to be by far way too far fetched and stupid!

People say Michael escaped his death in H20... NO HE DID NOT. First, how in the hell is he supposed to know Laurie would attempt to kill him like that?

Second, want to know why they explained it by saying it wasn't Michael? Because that is the most plausible simple way to explain it. They could have EASILY chopped off the REAL Michael's head and still brought him back with an outrageous explanation just like Jason.

Halloween always stuck more on the reality side in some sense. Jason X proves that point. lol. I mean come on, space? 1,000,000,000,000 years into the future??? WOW!!

I mean, just look at how Jason died in some of his movies. Those were simple things even, that didn't even kill Michael. Jason has died several times and only came back by the stupidy of humans. Michael has NEVER died.

So, Michael can't die and doesn't really have a weakness whereas Jason can die because he has, and has weaknesses like being afraid of water, or turning back into a little kid which I find ****ing retarted.

However, Michael and Jason fighting would be the most sickass hardcore fight in history. I would love to see it. No one would win, but I would be routing for Michael!
