| My thoughts on this movie... |
|
| I've never considered the films in the Final Destination series to be serious horror movies, and after seeing this film my opinion hasn't changed, but all in all Final Destination 3 surprized me. The plot didn't deviate to far from the first two movies: After a teenager has a vision of her and all of her friends dieing in a horrible accident (on a rollercoaster this time around), she prevents their demise, therefore cheating the natural process of death. One by one we watch the teens die violently as death catches up to them. Much of the time in this film is spent on these elaborate death scenes, and that's just the way it should be. The plot doesn't get to complex, and while the dialog is cheezy more often than not, the acting isn't terrible by any means. Not nessesarally acadamey award winning mind preformences you, but good enough to be believable for this movie's pourposes. If you're looking for a serious entry into the horror genre, then you're going to be dissapointed when you watch this movie. If you're looking for a fun movie that you'll be able to enjoy with your friends however, than go and see it. Or at least go and rent it. |
