January 13, 2006 — Today the official website for New Line Cinema's Final Destination 3 has been fully launched. Read on for updates:
Send Your Friend on a Ride to Death" personalized video: On our website we will feature a first person video of riding a roller coaster, and the capability to personalize the end with your name and death. We will also have the functionality to send this to a friend. I'd love for you to editorially promote the feature and link through to our site. It will live on .
Mobile Ringtones: We will have a mobile area on the official site where users will be able to download "screams" as ring tones for free. I'd for you to promote the feature and link through to our site. It will live on .
180 Feature: We also have a special feature on the official site. If you type in 1-8-0 on the site, theres a special surprise. I cant tell you what it is, but you can definitely check it out when the official site launches this Friday, 13th. I would love it if you promoted this hidden feature as well-possibly in your message boards.
And the "What's Your Dark Side?" Viral E-mail: We developed a viral e-mail featuring questions designed to reveal a person's "dark side" by answering a series of questions such as "Do you think you've ever cheated death?" The idea is to "get to know your friends better" by answering the questions then sending them to 13 of your friends so you don't get jinxed with bad luck. Feel free to post on our messege boards, or e-mail it to your friends. Below you'll find the e-mail:

Like those e-mails from the past you used to pass along to your friends, these questions dig deep into your "darkside" showcasing creepy thoughts you didn't know you had. Answer for yourself, then pass your answers along to 13 of your most unlucky friends, including the person who sent this to you, to see how twisted they are! BUT BEWARE! Be ever careful to tell the truth. Lies provoke the darkside, and failure to forward may bring the wrath of Friday the 13th upon you.
