Eric Burke is an average, ordinary 18 year-old. He and his class is going on a cruise; James B. (his best friend), Jay, Phill, Kara, and James. He may not like some of them, but it was his class so he had to put up with it.
As the kids approached the boat, Eric looked up and got an extremely ominous feeling. He looked at his ticket and saw that his room number was 666. He blinked and when he looked back it was 696. The ominous feeling began to grow n him, until the man at the door to the boat asked for his ticket. He gave it to him and he snapped out of it. He was determined to have fun, even if it meant hanging out with that Jay kid.
An hour of two later.
The boat egan to move and it gave a quick shudder. The passengers began clapping and the boat gave another shudder. Suddenly the boat sped up drastically and many people fell down. Eric had no clue what was going on. The boat then began tipping to the left, or the right, Eric didn't know. People started to fall from the hallways above them in the lobby. Someone hit a statue and it began to break. It cracked in half and crushed James. Kara screamed and screamed until a some large sofas started to slide quickly toward her. She didn't see it until it was too late. It hit her and threw her out a window nearby. As the boat continued to tip, Phill fell out of a window and was impaled on a broken railing outside. The boat began to stabalize, but began to sink. The waves were large that day, and swept up James B. and he was impaled on the sword that the rest of the statue was holding. As the boat was sinking, the boat shudderd evenmore until the chandelier came loose above Eric and fell.
"Can I take your ticket sir?" The man at the door asked. Eric let out a huge breath, and yelled:
"The boat! It's gonna sink!" He started to run down the on-ramp, but James stopped him.
"Stop it! Get on the boat and don't be dramatic" Eric pushed him and both the James followed him. Kara, Phill, and Jay both decided, for their own reasons, to get off the boat as well. As Eric looked on, just like what he saw, the boat sank.
