Well, Len Wiseman said something about a third one a while back:

'Evolution Director Len Wiseman tells Bloody Disgusting that "Yes, there's actually a sequel as well as prequel ideas. I'm still seeing how this one goes and there's no set plan in terms of ideas for either".
