Proof “A movie worth watching” — Simple_Plan_fan [More reviews by this user] Anticipation Level: How excited (or not) I am to see this movie... If "Proof" is anything like the play(currently being performed in universities around the country) then it is bound to be a success. I'm a freshman in high school and my Theatre Arts class just read the script. It is about a famous mathematician(Robert) who has recently died and left his daughter (Catherine) and his former student (Hal) to search through his old notebooks to find anything worth publishing. Claire (Robert's other daughter) lives in New York and is trying to persuade Catherine to come live with her. A notebook is found containing the proof to a mathematical theorem.
