| How excited (or not) I am to see this movie... |

Like for Reloaded, I resisted. I resisted watching any theatrical trailer or tv spot. All I had seen was the post-credits trailer.
I was expecting God, nothing less. I was expecting something amazingly dazzling, something completely out of this world. There was no question in my mind on whether that movie was going to be worth it or not. It was going to be awesome.
Theories, I have written. (I was still 50% right, wasn't I?) Mad scenarios I have created. But I thought, eh, it's gonna be awesome anyways, so why bother?
I had faith in the Wachowskis.

I can only say one thing: overexpectation.
A good question would be: If I wasn't a fan, how would I feel towards Revos? But now, here I am, dissapointed. A sword in my heart. I loved the Matrix exactly because it wasn't like what it finally became with Revos.
The problem is they thought the Zion battle would replace the Matrix's amazing kung-fu fights. But where the hell has gone the fantastic Burly Brawl, one of the most amazing scenes I have seen in my life? The Super Brawl, let's face it, was inferior to what they had used us to. Two fights in Revos, that's all and not enough.
And where in the world has gone the philosophy?? It filled the first one, it was present - nothing more - in Reloaded, but now... it's almost completely gone...
The question that came to my mind is, what the hell has happened?? What has become the genius of the Wachowski? The mind-bending plot twist, the equivalent of the Architect's scene but in Revos?
The Zion attack (very long) made me think of baby John Gaeta being given a brand new toy. Yes, the effects rocked, but they were like an empty nut. And what's that worth? The Matrix was everything but this up to now. Do I really care about Zee and her friend, about Mifune, about Kid, and even about Deadbolt, aka Commander Lock? No! I care about every other character. About the main characters as well as Merovingian, Persephone, etc. No but really, she didn't have the hell of a role at all.
But that was inevitable, wasn't it? Expectation has no limit, and that's what happens when you cross the limit of what could be accomplished. But still, they could have made better, couldn't they have?
Betrayed is how I feel. What is going to happen in Matrix Online, do I know? The only thing I know is if it continues in the same direction, ouch, that's gonna be painful...
