Anticipation Level:
How excited (or not) I am to see this movie...
I'm soooo loking forward to the grand finale.
Have to know which ending, of the countless possibilities presented after RELOADED, the W-brothers chose.
Movie Review:
My thoughts on this movie...
Well, not what I expected, although the ending makes somekind of sense.
The death of Trinity and Neo, surprising but not unexpected. But how much of this was controlled by the maschines? Neo broke the cycle when he didn't enter the Source in Reloaded, so how could the Oracle foresee this ending, or was it just a matter of faith? She believed. I knew, as I believe most knew, that the trilogy couldn't end with humans defeating the machines. After all, the machines have ruled the Earth for centuries and have massive defenses. But still, PEACE? I'd expected a more vague ending, with no certainties, but PEACE? Was this ending chosen so that there could be no more sequels, or will Neo return, somehow? I hope not, others have tried it with poor results. Resurrections are not an option.
It is an acceptable ending. If you haven't seen the movie yet, do it now. You wont regret it. It outshines Reloaded and the first one in a heartbeat, although not all questions raised or implied in the Matrix are given an answer.
