When it comes to Quentin Tarantino you never know what you'll get next, only you just know that it's gonna be one incredible movie. Supposedly, QT's next film after Kill Bill Vol 1 & Vol 2 was going to be "Inglorious Bastards", a film about a group of disgraced U.S. soldiers during World War II manage to escape the execution squad by going on a daring mission to help the Allies in the fight against the Nazis.

Well according to AICN, this may no longer be.. read on my friends.

"Movie magazines and Internet sites across the world have reported that the award-winning Writer and Director's next project would be "Inglorious Bastards," but in an interview with Total Film, Tarantino revealed he would in fact be working on an entirely different and completely leftfield movie.

The news was revealed when unsuspecting Total Film journalist Mark Dinning visited Tarantino's home to deliver two awards from the magazine's 2004 Readers Awards for Tarantino's Kill Bill series Man Of The Year and Action Scene Of The Year:

"Inglorious Bastards, Not yet, Man. My next movie is gonna be another kung fu that's gonna blow your asses off. Everyone still thinks I'm doing Bastard's next, but before I do that I want to do something much smaller."

Tarantino continued: "The next movie will be in Mandarin! I enjoyed shooting all the Japanese stuff in Kill Bill, so much so that this whole film will be entirely in Mandarin. If you're not up to watching it with subtitles I really want to do a full-on dubbed version."

Wow! I do hope this rumor is true. I would love to see a full on Tarantino Kung Fu Film. The scene in Kill Bill Vol 1, with the Crazy 88 and the House of Blue Leaves was amazing.. just think what a whole film would be like? Can I say it again. Wow!

Well, now that we're talking about his next film, Quentin Tarantino may have found his Chinese equivalent of Uma Thurman - ex-supermodel, Li Xin.

According to Monkey Peaches and MovieHole, Xin is likely to headline a new martial-arts movie that Tarantino is planning. He discovered her in the French actioner "Double Ziro", and apparently got in touch.

Donnie Yen ["Hero"] has also been hinting that Tarantino wants him for a film - could be the same one - but isn't saying much more than that, says the aforementioned site.

Tarantino wants to make a totally inclusive martial arts movie - with one version in pure Mandarin language - after he finishes his WWII epic "Inglorious Bastards".
