Ice Age: The Meltdown “Ice Age 2? hmmm...” — peter_haase13 [More reviews by this user] Anticipation Level: How excited (or not) I am to see this movie... The first Ice Age was brilliant in that its simple yet emotional and just the right balance of everything. Diego was good/bad throughout and this kept his character interesting and unpredictable. At the end they were all friends. I personally feel that the characters where taken as far as they could go in the first one, so I have my concerns for the sequel. I found Shrek 2 and Toy Story 2 to suffer from this also-character chemisty running out of steam.
