| DVD out on December 5th plus details |
SUBMITTED BY Fred Hill September 28, 2006 — The DVD release date for Pirates will be on December 5, 2006. Also in the announcement are some of the details of the DVD. Released on that date will be standard DVD version in a single disc and special edition two disc set. No word on when HD versions of the DVD will come out. Johnny Depp and screenwriters Ted Elliott and Terry Rossio will be the stars of the supplements on the Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest DVDs. As previously reported, the year's biggest box-office grosser and Disney's most successful movie of all time will have its DVD release on Dec. 5 (distributor prebook Oct. 10, direct Sept. 26). The movie will be available from Buena Vista Home Entertainment in a single-disc edition for $29.99 and a two-disc collector's edition for $34.99... Click here for the full story. |
