Actress Lindsay Lohan, who recently starred in the teen-comedy, Mean Girls, is attached to star in Fashionistas, the Paramount film project based on the Lynn Messina novel about an aspiring fashion designer.
Producer Christine Peters (How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days), who personally optioned the book from her own pocket, has tapped A Very Brady Sequel scribes Stan Zimmerman and James Berg to write the film adaptation.
Lohan will play an aspiring fashion designer, who interns at a Gotham fashion magazine while working toward a degree at the Parson School of Design. But when a revenge plan on her editor backfires, she suddenly finds herself posing as a major designer at night, while toiling as a lowly magazine assistant during the day.
