Warner Bros. Pictures has released the first trailer for director Guy Ritchie's Sherlock Holmes, starring Robert Downey Jr., Jude Law, Rachel McAdams, Mark Strong, Kelly Reilly and Eddie Marsan. The action-adventure-mystery, opening Christmas Day, sends Holmes (Downey Jr.) and his stalwart partner Watson (Law) on their latest challenge. Revealing fighting skills as lethal as his legendary intellect, Holmes will battle as never before to bring down a new nemesis and unravel a deadly plot that could destroy the country.
It was annoying that people over at comingsoon were complaining about how Robert Downey Jr. wouldn't be able to pull off a british accent....if anyone had ever seen Chaplin they'd know that he's one of the few american actors who can flawlessly pull off a perfect british accent
Had another look at this tonight with Terminator Salvation. It still didn't blow me away as a movie I MUST see in theaters, but it made a decent first impression.
