Wow, shows how much time I have, I just read the whole thing. It's obvious it's voted on by their readers though, and not by professionals. I don't agree with a lot them, and I find it insulting that if a movie is a sequel or something and rates lower than the original, it says something great about the sequel, then when it gets to the higher-rated original, it bashes the sequel. Two cases in point, Kill Bill Vol. 2 and Pirates 2. Both had great things to say about them, then when you get to the originals, they pan the sequels.
Not a bad list, surprised by the top 10 to be honest. Except Shawshank, the movie should ALWAYS be a top 10er.

I can't believe this absurd list.

I didn't see "Spaceballs" or "Young Frankenstein" on there, or even Boris Karloff's "Frankenstein" on the list. There's no "Superman II", there's no Bela Lugosi's "Dracula", and Lon Chaney Jr.'s classic "The Wolf Man" is also absent from the list!

But to make things worse, two of my top ten favorite films - the first "X-Men" and "The Incredible Hulk" - don't even make the cut!

I didn't even see "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory". And how can you possibly NOT rank "Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein", "Clue: The Movie" ("1+2+2+1!") or cult-classic "UHF" on the top 500 list?!? I mean, if you can list at least three John Cusack movies, you can d*mn well include these comedy gems.

But good lord, "School of Rock" ranks on there? "Anchorman" ranks? Even "Point Break" and "A.I."?!? Ugh!! Even "Superman Returns" and "Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace" rank on the list!!

Come on!!

THE HULK IS SNUBBED IN FAVOR OF KEANU REEVES, JAR-JAR BINKS AND KATE BOSWORTH'S LOIS LANE?!? WHY, GOD, WHY?!?

I also hate how some films rank so lowly on their list. "The Incredibles" isn't better than "Spider-Man" or "Spider-Man 2", which clock in at 437 and 411, respectively, while "The Incredibles" ranks at 400. "Batman Returns" ranks higher than "Batman" ("Returns" is 401 over the original's 458 )? Richard Donner's classic "Superman" is only 174? It's not even in the top 100?!?

Oy.

I do love some accidental blunders they made, though. Like pick #306 - "'Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade' (2007)". And no, I'm not kidding.

This list needs a serious tune up. I don't agree with this list at all.
