Scary Movie 4 “SM4 is Funny, But...” — BlOoD-MaN [More reviews by this user] Anticipation Level: How excited (or not) I am to see this movie... Let me start this review by saying i like all the Scary Movies (including 2) but i feel this entry was somewhat weak. Scary Movie 4 is Funny as hell and everything but it just didn't seem Complete. The grafics on the Tri-pods weren't to my likeing and the whole ending seemd alittle rushed. Even some shots of them running around seemd like it was shot on a homevideo camera. I did like this Movie alot and i am going to buy it on DVD the day it hits stores, but i haft to say this is my 2nd least favorite in the series. Alot of the gags worked and made me laugh and there weren't as many misses in this movie. But there were more flaws in the plot than any of the other Scary Movies, and let me just say that Brenda really shouldn't of been brought back (from the dead) because, to me, she wasn't as funny as she was in the other movies. Anna, on the otherhand, seems to get more and more funny as the series progresses (lets frickin' hope they make a SM5). David Zucker did a wonderful job on captureing the atmosfear of the movies he spoofed. If you were to flip between The Grudge and Scary Movie 4 you would see how similar the movies are by look. I hope this Movie does well at the Box Office so that can back up Scary Movie 5. When i went to the theator at around 7:00 there weren't many people there so that kinda scares me that this movie may flop. so GO SEE IT! it's really funny... and don't let my negetive crap throw you off i thought it was good just not as good as the others except 2 (witch ranks the weakest in my book).... and its frickin Funny My favorite part was [SPOILER] When Charlie Sheen overdose's on Viagra and jumps off the belcony [/SPOILER] funny stuff.
