August 5, 2003 — According to Yahoo! Movies, Dimension films is hoping to start production on Scary Movie 4 soon (reports on Yahoo claim they wanted to start last month, no word on whether they were able to begin so early) and get the flick released within 6 months of the October 3rd 2003 release of Scary Movie 3. Word is that this entry in the series will continue to focus largely on spoofing horror films, but this entry would also rib on recent superhero efforts like Spider-Man, Daredevil, and Hulk.
