I'm not the soundtrack aficionado out good friend The Inspector is, but I know that there's been a long wait for word on a release of Han Zimmer's score from the U.S. remake, The Ring, a wait that is now at an end.

Decca Records has announced they will finally release Zimmer's score (in which he was joined by Henning Lohner and Martin Tilman to create) on March 15th. They will also be putting out the score to The Ring Two, due out on March 18th. Lohner and Tilman are responsible for the new score, working with themes Zimmer established with the first film.

As you can see, the score for both films will be on one CD, and you can click here to pre-order it through Evilshop, which may dissuade Samara from crawling out of your monitor...for a while.

i hope there are some really triumphent scenes..or maybe a twist at the end

you know in films when the character or audience relises the twist, how the score picks up..

and with triumphent scenes (mainly at the end) the score gets big

a good dramatic violin score would rock aswell..but probably wont happen..they will probably keep with the eerie score
