I saw the movie. I still wonder, why couldn't we have had a fascinating, mysterious female in here, like Morgan, Arthur's sister. They could have had her without magic. An adversary of some sort.
They could have included her in the movie without the incest easily. How? Make her a fullblooded Woad and a priestess of sorts. Along with Guinevere she could have helped Arthur try to realize the Rome he thought existed doesn't and to embrace his britton heritage...

Exactly what i was thinking. She could still play the priestess, old religion role, without magic. Like they did with Merlin.
As to the whole Mrodred, incest thing, some stories have Morgause as the sister who had Mordred, not Morgan.
