I've seen the full trailer now, and while I've already decided to see the film, I wondered if anyone liked the trailer enough to see it. We all know that trailers rarely give you much insight into what the film is really going to be like.

I thought the trailer was average, neither excited me or made me groan. However, it keeps you guessing as to the plotline, and doesn't give away too many scenes, which is good.

I'm going to see it because it looks like a good midieval action movie, but I'm going to have to pretend like it's not actually based off the Arthur myth, because the liberties they've taken from what I can see in the preview would make it a totally unenjoyable movie if I was going to see it for the Arthurian Legend stuff.

It's one interpretation. Even legends have some basis in fact. But, indeed, you'll have to put aside preconceived notions of Arthur. I wonder how many in the audience can do that...it's a dangerous thing to do in some ways...or a brave risk.

Don't know about the rest of you, but I'll probably b**** and whine over Lancelot and his wielding two swords, but then "Its all in the movies.", I found myself laughing at a few battle scenes in Troy.

It'll be a good movie though, despite Lancelot and his two swords, sheathed on his back no less

i saw it today

it was good..a little dissapointing..it doesnt rank up with the big blockbusters of this year...with this film only very little was computer generated and the script was weird...



what they said was perfect..perfect final draft stuff...but some of the conversations went for way to long (at the start when they wheir riding into the gates.

damn...some of you guys needed alot of convincing. i didnt even need to see the trailer to know that i was going to watch it. ever since i heard that a king arthur movie was coming out i was definately there!!
i am such a sucker for myths, and have loved king arthur for as long as i can remember...
i must say though...since i HAVE seen it, i did enjoy it, but they could have kept to the legend a little more...i mean, where was morgan le fay?? and to totally blow people minds...why not exclude lancelot...he didnt exist anyway...it was like the movie "troy"...i mean, the wooden horse never existed either. like lancelot, it was a just an invention to make people think it was more interetsing.
but it was enjoyable none the less. and i would pay to see it on big screen again.
